Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

I want to buy a quarter beef or pork- what is next?

Reserve your quarter, half or whole beef or pork on our farm store. We will contact you when we deliver your animal to the locker. Then you contact the locker with your cutting instructions, including size of roasts, # of steaks per package, lbs of ground beef, etc. The locker staff can help you with your questions or ask us for our favorite recommendations. Beef hangs for 10-14 days for aging then it is cut, packaged and frozen. A hog can take up to 3-4 weeks for curing bacons and ham. Please plan to pick up your meat from the locker or contact us to work out delivery to one of our designated delivery sites.
